It's a Dirty Job...

It is a dirty job, but someone has to do it!  I learned this trick from a contractor years ago but I rarely gather up the energy to do it.

When your stainless steel sink is looking dull, a good way to spiff it up is to scrub it with wads of tin foil.  This makes a mess of your hands, unfortunately!  And it a ton of work!  But it works.  Takes off all that tarnish.

And can you believe my Sugar!  She has never been this close, by choice, to another cat since I got her!  She is actually interested in a friend.

  5. Really, scrubbing with foil removes the tarnish? I will have to remember that trick. Very cool.

I can see you are a cat lover :-) I have a 15-year old cat named Panny. She is a wonderful cat.

Andrea & Pam - it really works swell

Renata - I'll try baking soda on the other sink tomorrow. Maybe it will be easier!

Velva - another cat lover! My Miss Sugar is a rescue cat and I have had her 5 or so years. She has issues but is so-o-o darned cute! We are getting there!

  9. Memoria - the black and white is my friend's cat. Sugar doesn't usually make friends. She usually chases another cat out of the house!
