Winter on the Prairies

I know we are all having weird weather this winter and there are some very bad storms.  I have been shovelling snow for almost an hour a day for the past week.  Please stop snowing soon!

  3. Your yard looks like ours! Lots of snow, lots of drifts. It's beautiful -- but I do get tired of it!

  4. Well, m'dear... in my neck of the woods, down NYC way... the snow is piled up higher than I am and dirty... yours still is pristine and white. Take comfort in that... your house looks great in all that white house-dressing!

  5. For Brazilians like me, the all white landscape is so, so beautiful! Good to look at while "baking" in that unbearably hot summer. Thank God I'm in Korea now, it's very cold, but no snow in my city... hoping for some!

  6. What an incredible and beautiful sight. It seldom snows here in Wellington and most of the tress are green al year round. Wrap up warm,

  7. p.s. at least you don't need to fill the birdbath - I'm having to top mine up several times a day at the moment!

  8. I know...that is a LOT of snow, Sarah. I think you may have a little ways to go yet though. Just think spring!

  9. It's a lot of snow. We're supposed to get a storm tonight into tomorrow (Ryan's thinking 2-hour delay!), and maybe ice. Give me feet of snow, as long as we don't have ice!
