The harvest is late and there is no time for the farmers to have a big sit-down turkey dinner. Instead turkey was delivered to the men while they worked in the field.
It never occurred to me that your Thanksgiving was at a different time! Lovely photos of all of that grain and hardworking farmers. We should all give thanks to their work once a day!
Oh my gosh Sarah, I remember how delicious food tasted when eaten in an open field. I used to eat my food in the middle of rice paddies. It was the best!
