Oh, I love all the images you posted. If you have more, I would love to see them. I've never been to Canada during Canada Day, but I would love to witness it first hand one day. Thanks for sharing these photos.
Valli> I did. I am learning more and more about my new community.
buffalo> Happy 4th of July! Woohoo!
Memoria> this is really small town stuff! The parade had a ton of, what I call, 'toys for boys'! All the huge farm equipment, semis with flatbeds that had more farm equipment! The Shriners in their fez and regalia! Most of my pics did not turn out, unfortunately. Wrong setting on my camera, drat.
Were the parade and rodeo in Swift Current - that looks like a lot of events for one small town (are you a small town or city?). You took some great photos. I tried to take fireworks photos but they didn't turn out - you must have a better camera or a better technique. Looks like a fun Canada Day.
Grace> we are a small city of 16,000 plus all the rural and nearby villages. Yes, it was all right here! The rodeo announcer was amazing and from Maple Creek - about an hour away.
I just love the girl sleeping on her cow... that is dedication!!!
ReplyDeleteToday is our day in USA to howl! Party starts for us at about 3pm...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had such a good time on the weekend. Love the photos:D

Finger food, fireworks and relaxation for us, too! However, I confess that most of us are not as good at relaxation as Muss Sugar!
ReplyDeleteQuelle journée et beaucoup d'événements.
ReplyDeleteLe chat est totalement épuisé de voir toutes ces choses.
A bientôt et bon dimanche.
