Fresh Peas and Homemade Linguini
Finally it is market garden season! Yesterday was my first trip to the market and I found fresh peas and spring onions. I love this combination and decided to cook up some of the fresh pasta I made a couple of days ago. It was the first time I made pasta so I didn't take pictures but the results were wonderful.
It is a nice sunny morning so I sat outside while I shelled the peas.

ReplyDeleteYou make me want some! I need to get off my buns and make this fresh pasta; my dad is a pasta-obsessed man, having grown up with an italian nonna and nothing would please him more
Fresh garden peas are the first Spring vegetable I await with baited breath.
ReplyDeleteThe peas look wonderful, as does the linguini! Your food is screaming "summer"!
ReplyDeleteSaturday was our first trip to the Farmer's Market too! As luck or laziness would have it, we didn't get there early enough and all the "good" stuff was gone. We came home with doggie treats...LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat looking linguini...LOVE the peas
Making pasta is on my list. Was it hard?

ReplyDeleteHi Sarah,
ReplyDeleteThat past is positively mouthwatering. I love the photos of the peas. I can almost taste them from here, crispy, juicy, plump and sweet.
Thanks for voting on my logo design. I shall post some comps of my 2 favorite pretty soon. Wishing you a magnificent day.
Cheers! =D

To everyone! I am losing my comments for some reason. There is an error with Blogger and the comments just disappear! Hopefully this won't continue for very long.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like making new pasta! The dish looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I had the same problem with my comments!
Our fresh peas are gone now, but they'll be back in fall. Plenty of time to practice up on making pasta. I have a machine but have not used it yet. Thanks for sharing!
