Autumn in Calgary

Autumn is one of the nicest times to visit Calgary.  The colours are amazing, even if we don't get the reds in Western Canada.  The river valley is wonderful.  I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

  2. I lived in Calgary for many years and the colour of the cottonwood trees along Memorial Drive parallel with the Bow River is stunning.

    And your shortbread in the previous post? Yummy. I copied the recipe. I have an Ina Garten recipe that is similar....I love savory shortbread.

  10. how beautiful it is in Calgary. we want to return to Banff again someday! My favorite of your photos is the 3rd shot of the country road between the trees . . . .you really have a good 'eye'!!!
